Freedom Fest at Eliza Howell Park

Festivity highlights include: a community sing led by renowned Detroit artist, Director of Choral Activities at Wayne State University, and Artistic Director of the Rackham Choir, Dr. Brandon Waddles and supported vocally by Anesha Birchett, Natasha Blu, Isis Damil, and Ryan Bowie, and musically by Amir Edwards, Justin Drew, and Kali Douglas; gospel singers; drum and dance performances; and a candlelight healing ceremony.
This evening is an opportunity to gather, sing, dance, restore and heal-- together. Great for the whole family.
Don't forget to bring your own chairs or blanket.
